EXPERT PEST INSPECTIONS

In most cases, we offer complimentary inspections aside from wildlife and large commercial or residential properties.

“I called Pest Management Systems, Inc. requesting information about pest services concerning a particular insect I was seeing in my rental property. The receptionist was very knowledgeable concerning the insect with regards to how they breed and their season for egg hatching. She also advised me of alternative approaches to handle the situation. I really appreciate the fact that Pest Management Systems, Inc. did not attempt to sell a service that probably would not have provided the results I wished (like other popular pest control companies in my area attempted to do). I will definitely consider Pest Management Systems, Inc. in the near future.”

What Is a Wood-Destroying Insect Report (WDIR)?
The WDIR is a written inspection report that answers two primary questions:
- Is there any evidence of a wood-destroying insect infestation?
- If so, is there evidence that the infestation has been previously treated?
An infestation is defined by North Carolina as any evidence, past or present, of wood-destroying insects in, on, or under the structure that is being inspected. Any evidence of wood-destroying insects, whether active or inactive, is considered an infestation. Evidence of a previously treated termite infestation is the presence of drill holes in the garage slab, porch slabs, and crawlspace concrete block and/or brick foundation walls.
Treatments for all other wood-destroying insect infestations (other than termites) will not leave any visible evidence of a previous treatment. For these infestations we must determine whether they appear to be active or inactive.
It is important to remember that a WDIR is not a warranty as to the total absence of wood-destroying insects or damage from them. This is an inspection of the readily accessible areas of a structure only.
Call PMi for more information on how to schedule to have one of our termite experts provide a WDIR.
REGULAR TERMITE INSPECTIONS
Termites slowly compromise the integrity and value of your home. They are often difficult to find and can seem impossible to get rid of. Termites cause 5 Billion dollars in damage to homes in the U.S. every year. It is important to have a PMi termite inspector come out if you suspect termite activity as they multiply quickly and can completely destroy homes.
Our experienced staff of exterminators can execute a thorough termite inspection of your property and provide you with a report that outlines recommended treatment. PMi uses the most up to date chemistries to treat and prevent termite infestations.
