PMi has been a proud sponsor of the Greensboro Grasshoppers for well over a decade and this will be the 16th consecutive year that PMi has sponsored a special Jersey Night during a Hoppers game. The game-worn jerseys will be auctioned off to fans in attendance to the game Thursday, August 15th and will benefit Rasing Roofs by Habitat for Humanity of Greensboro and the Greensboro Builders Association. Previous Jersey Nights have netted over $75,000 in donations to help the program.
In celebration of the 50th Anniversary of Woodstock Music Festival and the Peanuts Character named after the iconic festival, players will be wearing Woodstock themed jerseys which will then be auctioned off to benefit the Raising Roofs program by Habitat for Humanity of Greensboro. The event previously known as Tropical Jersey night gets a new theme this year that is sure to be popular with classic music lovers and fans of the Peanuts Characters.
Both Habitat for Humanity and Raising Roofs serve in the Greensboro area to give the community new opportunities and paths to success. Raising Roofs is collaboration between the Greensboro Builders Association and Habitat for Humanity. With donations of time, money and materials they have been able to build 60 homes. Builders, contractors, and suppliers graciously donate their time and materials to make this organization flourish.
