Lucas is a PhD entomologist who has always had a passion for the creepy-crawly critters of the world. He attended graduate school at the University of Florida, where he received an MS in medical and veterinary entomology and a PhD in urban entomology. Lucas’ master’s thesis was focused on Brown Dog Ticks, and his PhD dissertation was focused on subterranean termites. Lucas has been in the pest management industry since 2017. During that time Lucas has become a Board Certified Entomologist through the Entomological Society of America and Quality Pro certified through the NPMA. He is also a certified pesticide applicator in the state of North Carolina. During his career, Lucas has been involved with high profile accounts, including: the Smithsonian, the National Gallery of Art, the Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport, and the National Institutes of Health. In addition to being a bug expert, Lucas has experience with customer service, quality assurance, inspections, IPM, and Operations. Lucas loves to spend time with his wife, Amelia, dog, Stella, and cat, Penelope. He is an avid fan of everything related to technology, and he also enjoys spending time doing a variety of activities in the Great Outdoors.
